Injection

Futerro PLA has been used without any problem on conventional injection moulders for the transformation of commodity polymers. The moulding cycle time is similar to those for polystyrene.

Operating temperatures are generally higher in injection moulding than in other transformation techniques, so drying the PLA before use is highly recommended.
