About PLA
WHAT IS PLA?
PLA, or polylactic acid, is a biopolymer emerging from the combined power of biotechnology and chemistry. Derived from renewable resources such as sugar from corn or wheat, PLA is considered a sustainable alternative to traditional fossil-based plastics.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF BIOBASED PRODUCTS?
Biobased products offer several key advantages over traditional fossil-based alternatives. By using renewable raw materials, they reduce our dependence on finite fossil resources and contribute to a lower carbon footprint.
Biobased products can also contribute to sustainability, enhance circularity, and mitigate environmental impact compared to conventional fossil-based alternatives.
