LOOPLA® is a chemical recycling technology that converts PLA-based product into lactic acid, which can then be used to create virgin-quality PLA again.
This innovation is significant because it highlights PLA as an example of circularity. PLA is not only chemically recyclable, but also industrially compostable and mechanically recyclable. Its various end-of-life options make PLA a sustainable alternative to fossil-based plastics.
