Returning to the European High-Level Conference on Biosolutions for the second year in a row was a valuable opportunity for Futerro, as we once again had the pleasure of exhibiting to this conference organised by the European Biosolutions Coalition in Brussels. 🌱
At this time last year, the bioeconomy strategy was still being drafted. Since then, the picture has become much clearer: the European institutions’ direction for bio-based chemicals and materials are now better defined, with concrete regulatory proposals now coming into view, notably as the second part of the Biotech Act approaches.
It’s at this crucial point for Europe that this conference offered great moments of exchange around the role of bio-based solutions in Europe, gathering of policymakers, researchers, and industry players.
