We are pleased to announce that Frédéric Van Gansberghe, CEO and Founder of Futerro, has been reappointed to the Board of European Bioplastics (EUBP) and has now been elected Co-Chair of the association.
European Bioplastics is a key advocate for the bioplastics industry, working to create and strengthen a supportive EU policy framework for bio-based, biodegradable, and compostable plastics. Futerro is proud to contribute to the objectives of European Bioplastics and to collaborate with industry leaders in driving forward a more sustainable and resilient plastics ecosystem.
“This mandate is about turning ambition into delivery. EUBP will continue to work for a Europe where bioplastics make the bioeconomy tangible: replacing fossil carbon where they deliver value, enabling circularity and contributing to resilient European industrial value chains.” said Frédéric Van Gansberghe.
Frédéric’s reappointment to the Board, alongside his election as Co-Chair, reflects Futerro’s strong commitment to advancing the recognition of bioplastics as a strategic sector for Europe’s sustainability, innovation, competitiveness, and strategic autonomy.
